Bought this to keep dog hair out of the car boot but the item is really for putting on the back seat to keep it clean. It was absolutely enormous for our tiny car but with a bit of judicious folding and tucking we were able to fasten the ties around the headrests then fold the remaining fabric into a sort of cushion pad for the dogs, eliminating any need for other cushions or blankets in the boot. We do have an unusually small car but if yours is family sized or larger it should fit nicely without any messing about. The item is very well-made, durable and machine-washable and has an extending rubberised flap which drops down over the bumper to stop your dog from scratching it as it jumps into the back of the car. We don't need this bit as our dogs are small and have to be lifted in so it's just tucked under with the rest of the fabric. Great item - good value!

My dog's crate goes in the car boot (Vauxhall Meriva) and I got this to protect it from the worst of the mud and hair. It's been a couple of months and it's doing a good job so far, especially as I put my walking shoes and hiking rucksack in the boot too, after wet and muddy walks. The last one of these that I owned eventually started to crack and disintegrate where it gets folded so I can shut the boot and I expect this will go the same way at some point but so far, so good.

Bought for a Lexus NX. Great fit ! So easy to install. Like that there are velcro attachments to secure in place if you want to; long enough to cover the boot lip, protecting the paintwork from claw marks!! Less pet hair on the back of the seats, the better too.

Extremely poor product. My dog now dreads getting into the boot since I installed this boot cover. She used to jump in happily, now I need to pull her to the car and lift her in. She slides all over the boot. I drive as gently as I can and she constantly slips and falls over. She used to lie down happily but is now scared to as it means she slides about. Avoid if you have a dog.
